This was Hugh’s first competitive race in the Junior Rotax Category. He started powerful, but unfortunately, the throttle cable went in the second heat which lost him time and position.
This was worked on before the next race and he came back strong throughout the session, with many overtakes but unfortunately due to a technical fault in the final he had to retire and DNF (did not finish). Despite not finishing Hugh took some really good learning experience from the race, and working with his mechanics has enabled them to hopefully resolve the issue moving forward.
